🎉 What’s new in Release v234?

This release is all about smoother days at the desk. A reworked CMS makes everyday tasks quicker, your queue data gets a lot more meaningful, and we've rolled out a batch of accessibility and housekeeping improvements across the platform.

⚡ Get around your CMS faster than ever

What changed?

  • Every row in a table (productions, pages, people, and more) now has a clickable name that takes you straight to the detail page, alongside a new, larger Edit button.
  • A new "kebab" menu (the 3 vertical dots) tidies away less-used options like Delete, keeping each table cleaner and easier to scan.

  • Table filters have been visually improved, making it quicker and easier to narrow down long lists.

  • A new CMS users module makes handing out permissions far simpler. Add or remove access to modules from a single, well-organised drop-down that follows your CMS menu structure.
  • Media gallery items now show file metadata, including the original file name, type, and size.

  • Frequently used toggles, such as "Featured on homepage" for productions, are now visible switches instead of being hidden in a drop-down.
  • Searching by name now works consistently everywhere, including in Halls & Locations, with proper highlighting of matches.
  • Fixed an issue where double-clicking could add a page part twice.
  • Errors and warnings are now styled consistently and stay visible until you dismiss them.
  • Fixed missing Uitdatabank fields for our Flemish clients.

How do I use it?

  • No action needed. These improvements are already live across the CMS.

📊 A clearer picture of your queue traffic

What changed?

  • The queue module (in pilot with a small number of venues) has a brand new graph, replacing the previous view that only showed flow rate and visitor numbers.
  • The new graph adds visibility into bot traffic versus regular traffic, alongside flow rate and the number of visitors currently in the queue.

Why this matters: more data means better insight into what's really happening during a busy onsale, helping you tell genuine demand apart from bot activity at a glance.

How do I use it?

  • No action needed. The updated graph will appear automatically when your site is upgraded to the new queue.

♿ More accessibility improvements

What changed?

  • Improved keyboard navigation for the cart, search, user menu, and main menu.
  • Empty list elements are no longer left behind in the template when a genre has no productions connected.

How do I use it?

  • No action needed. These improvements are already live for all visitors.

🔗 Keep UTM parameters intact through redirects

What changed?

  • UTM parameters are now preserved when a visitor is redirected from an old URL to a new URL.
  • Any links you track via UTM parameters are no longer lost during a redirect.

How do I use it?

  • No action needed. This applies automatically to redirects set up in your redirect module, found under Website > Redirects.

🔒 A new security.txt file for your website

What changed?

  • Every website domain now includes a security.txt file, giving security researchers publicly accessible details on how to report security issues to us securely.

How do I use it?

  • No action needed. You can find the file at /.well-known/security.txt on any of your website domains.

⭐ Showcase reviews for your courses too

What changed?

  • The reviews gallery, previously limited to certain production types, is now also available for courses.
  • Uploaded reviews appear in a slider on the production page, showing the title and description you've added. Visitors can open the full review by selecting it.

How do I use it?

  • Upload reviews via the media gallery of the course, just as you would for any other production type.

⚙️ Additional fixes & Improvements

  • Fixed sorting of People on Pages.
  • Wallet tickets (Google and Apple) now include the order number. Thanks to Chassé Theater for flagging this.
  • Itix: visitor tags are now removed from website accounts when they're no longer present in the box office.
  • Improved error handling for invalid iFrame URLs.
  • Fixed an issue with ticket sharing expiry so it now correctly uses the date the ticket was created.
